Kumamoto Castle and Suizenji Park are famous tourist spots in Kumamoto City, but there are also plenty of other attractions, such as the shopping district that still retains the charm of the castle town, and Lake Gotsu, a place of relaxation for the local residents. ”A spot that doesn't get much attention but is loved by locals”. My plan doesn't really provide much historical background or information about the origins of the terrain, but I hope to be able to share Kumamoto's ”current” situation from a local perspective, including information on popular shops and gourmet food.
