He began traveling alone in his twenties and has backpacked, hitchhiking, camping, and surviving, including two trips around Japan and visiting ethnic minority villages in Southeast Asia.

Currently, the group pursues a semi-subsistence lifestyle, including hunting and gathering in the natural environment of their hometown of Nara Prefecture and working in the fields.

He loves nature and hot springs, and continues to explore various natural spots, hot springs, and public baths every day, mainly in Nara Prefecture, as well as deep, hidden spots and hot springs.
